The switcheroo wasn't that hard. The existing page was static html. Haunt generates a directory full of static files. So all that was really needed was to change the DocumentRoot. I also took the oppertunity to simply redirect www.gnu.tools to gnu.tools so everything just has one URL (they one without the www is the canonical one now).
