Dear Ludovic and Mark and others, I am glad that there is new activity here, and I'm glad to see you putting forth proposals for what comes next. I am willing to help if there are specific tasks to be done in this direction. My main reason for joining the GNU Assembly is that I don't want to rename the GNU Scientific Library unless we absolutely have to, and I hope that the GNU name can avoid permanent tarnish. I don't yet know if it will work, but I hope it will.
