like Ricardo, I read your contributions on the GCC mailing list, and am happy
that you joined the Assembly! I hope that this step will contribute to
maintaining GCC in a reformed GNU project. As the maintainer of GNU MPC in
particular, I would like to salvage the GNU participation of the toolchain.

+1! I found it helpful to leave one of the particularly toxic GNU internal
mailing lists; the GNU Assembly has been providing a much more serene
experience so far.
